Press Release - ComedySportz® St. Louis

A new, weekly comedy event designed for family audiences is being launched Nov 11 in St Charles. ComedySportz will be held at 7.30 pm every Saturday at the Sugarcubed Arena, 917 S Main St., 2nd Floor, St Charles, Mo., 63301  on historic Main St, in an area popular with locals and tourists alike.

Tickets available at the door or through www.cszstlouis.com Group rates available. ComedySportz is a 2- hour "clean comedy" competition. Two teams of experienced comedy/improv players vie to be the funniest, and the audience chooses the winner. The show is unscripted and different each time.

ComedySportz features "clean comedy" which organizer Mike McGuire explains as "not a 'kids show' but sticking to topics and language suitable for all ages. Parents don't have to worry about having to explain something later."

CSzStLouis will be the 29th independent theater to join CSz Worldwide, the global licensors of Dick Chudnow’s famed improv comedy competition, ComedySportz.

In addition to delivering first-rate hilarious Comedy shows suitable for everyone, it will also provide  improv-based corporate entertainment, training, and events marketing solutions. Plus, improv classes will begin in January 2018.  Stand Up Comedy shows will also be offered under the CSz St Louis umbrella of shows.

McGuire is a well-known comedy/improv coach, player and promoter in the St Louis area. The show takes place on the second floor of Sugarcubed, an old fashioned candy store with a vast, mix and match assortment. The store remains open during the show.  Contact Mike McGuire 314 707 4780 for more info.
