CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT & PHYSICALITY
In this workshop, participants will learn tricks to develop strong characters in an instant, working from instinct and physicality. Awaken your senses and let your body be your guide.
Instructor Bio:
Cooper Shaw holds her MFA in Acting from The Actor’s Studio Drama School in NYC. She trained in Improvisation at Chicago’s Second City Conservatory Program, The Improv Shop in St. Louis, and privately with the late Gary Austin (founder of The Groundlings). Cooper’s acting and writing credits span film, television, commercials, voice-overs, and Regional Theatre. Currently on faculty at The Second City Hollywood (teaching Dialects & Character Voices, Acting, Character Development, On-Camera Acting), Cooper is also in demand as a Private Acting & Dialect Coach, with students working professionally in TV, Film, Voice Overs & Theatre.
